Welcome to Tearless Tutoring we are a fully virtual company that offers support for children of all ages in Reading, Writing, Grammar, Phonemic Awareness, Reading Comprehension, Spelling and, History. At Tearless Tutoring we believe that learning should be 100% accessible to children of all ages! Through fun, interactive lessons that are individualized to suit each child's learning preferences we strive to create an invigorating learning experience that leaves children feeling refreshed and excited!
MACKENZIE BURT
Co-Founder/ Tutor
Mackenzie is passionate about making education accessible for every student no matter their circumstances! She has a 4 year Bachelor of Arts degree from Trent University with a specialization in English and History. Over the years Mackenzie has worked with many students through sports, education, and tutoring. During these experiences Mackenzie realized the extent to which she could learn from the students that she interacted with. Currently, Mackenzie is finishing up her Bachelor of Education degree online from Ontario Tech University. She founded Tearless Tutoring as a way to advocate for the individual needs of each student and to make learning enjoyable and achievable for everyone!
MATT JOHNSON
Co-Founder
Matt is the analytics of this operation! With a 4 year Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Mount Royal University, a Commercial Real estate Licence, and a Commercial Appraisal License, Matt is dedicated to ensuring that each lesson is accessible to every student. Matt has experience coaching/tutoring students in sports settings and is passionate about making the current COVID-19 Pandemic easier for everyone in terms of learning. Matt brings extensive knowledge of business/marketing to Tearless Tutoring and is a crucial part of the team!
